In loving memory of Abdullahi Farid Ali - Supporting His Wife and Children.
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
Allah عز وجل says in the Holy Qur’an:
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ
“Every soul will taste death, then to Us you will ˹all˺ be returned.”
Surah Al-‘Ankabut, 29:57
إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return.
With profound sadness, we are raising this appeal following the shocking and tragic death of our dear beloved brother, Abdullahi Farid Ali, whose life was taken in Birmingham on Wednesday, 28 October 2026. He was just 43 years old.
Abdullahi was a devoted husband, a loving father and a cherished friend. Those who knew him remember a gentle man with a beautiful soul and an infectious smile, who quietly helped others through their difficulties. He gave without seeking attention or recognition, seeking only to please his Lord, serve his community regardless of background, and ease the burdens of others. He was a friend to everyone.
He leaves this world not a second too early, not a second too late on the date & time the almighty had decreed.
He does so, leaving behind his wife, six children and a seventh child on the way.
For his family, the loss is immeasurable. Alongside their grief, they now face the uncertainty of life without a loving husband and father, while preparing to welcome a child who will never have the opportunity to know him.
However, Allah عز وجل reminds us:
وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍ
“The believers, both men and women, are guardians of one another.”
Surah At-Tawbah, 9:71
Abdullahi spent his life helping others. We now have an opportunity to extend that same care to the family he leaves behind.
We aim to raise £100,000 to support his wife and children with their everyday living costs, the needs of their growing family and greater financial stability in the months and years ahead.
No donation can replace Abdullahi, but every contribution will be deeply appreciated and will help ease the burden that comes with such a loss.
We love him, we miss him, but we accept the decree that was written.
W'aslamu Alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
