Family of 8 from Gaza Need Urgent Help to Survive Genocide
Donation protected
Salam and hello!
My name is Khaled Mousa and I am 19 years old and I am desperately trying to help my family.
We are a family of eight from Rafah and have been displaced twice since the beginning of the war. In July, our family tent in Al-Shakoush, in the outskirts of Rafah, was crushed underneath a building that was blown to pieces by an Israeli bomb and we lost the few belongings that we had with us. We narrowly escaped with our lives. We are traumatised and we have nothing, just a few mattresses that we managed to scrape together and a water container. We live each day not knowing if we are going to be alive the next day.
This is a picture of me standing on the ruins of the building beneath which we lived in our tent.
We want to leave this ongoing horror in Gaza, but at present the borders are closed and no one is allowed to leave. Since being forced to abandon our house in Rafah four months ago with barely any notice, and now with the destruction of our tent, we have been left without any money or possessions.
My mother, Sabreen, is very unwell. She is 46 years old and suffers from severe asthma and allergies. I love my mother very much and I want to help her. There is so much dust, pollution and contamination around us and it makes her condition much worse. My mother needs medicines on a daily basis to treat her condition and stop her attacks, but the medicines are so expensive now, as is everything else. My father, Jamal, was a carpenter in Rafah before we were forced out of our home, but now he has no work, no money and no hope.
Please help contribute so that my mother can receive the medicines she needs to be well!
Please help my family to buy food, clothes and a new tent!
Please help us to get away from this nightmare if ever the borders open again, so we can protect ourselves and find peaceful new lives away from this hell that has become our reality!
My uncle has lent us a little money to rent a room in Nusseirat for a few days, because my mother’s condition is now too severe for her to live outside on the streets in the dirt and the dust and the pollution, but we don’t have enough money to continue paying the rent and we are desperate for help. We are also scared. The Israelis have already attacked the area once before and we think we might have to move again, but we don’t have a tent or the means to move.
We don’t like begging in this way, we are dignified people, but we have no choice. We have been abandoned by the world, whilst Israel has destroyed and taken away everything from us. Please give what you can to help us.
