Family of 7 Loses Home in Overnight Fire

To all reading this, thank you. This isn't my story to tell but it affects someone I care about. You see the ONLY man in the photo. That's Anil. Anil is my Charge Nurse on the night shift at Huntsville Hospital 7W/AMCII Unit. I am starting this fundraiser on behalf Anil Khada and his family. Thursday morning while working, he received a call from his wife who was home with their 5 children that their home was on fire. I so happen to be the person to receive the call from Anil to let us know he of course would not be working the next day. What I heard in his voice I already knew. He confirmed that he and his family were safe, however, his home was gone.

Anil and his wife have 5 children. Two of their children are special needs children and in a wheelchair. Anil has confirmed that all of the medical equipment they needed to care for their children was also destroyed either by fire or damage from water.

I and the rest of our unit (his work wives LOL) want to do something that could potentially reach beyond Huntsville to help get this family eventually relocated to a new home to start rebuilding what they have lost.

I pray that whoever takes the time to read this will donate and share. May God bless those who give and those that are less fortunate to give. Please continue to pray for this family while they forge through building a new home and safe place for their family.
