WE FINALLY HAVE A HOUSING OPPORTUNITY — NOW WE NEED HELP GETTING THROUGH THE DOOR.

It has been more than six months since I last updated our GoFundMe, and there is so much that has happened since then.

For those who have followed our journey, you know that my family and I have been navigating homelessness for quite some time. There have been moments when it would have been so easy to give up. Moments when the circumstances felt overwhelming, discouraging, and honestly, unfair.

But we didn’t give up.

We kept fighting.

We kept praying.

We kept believing.

And most importantly, we kept trusting God.

Today, I truly believe God is presenting my family with an opportunity that we’ve been praying and fighting for.

After everything we’ve experienced, we have finally found a private landlord who is willing to rent to our entire family.

The home is $2,300 per month, with a $2,300 security deposit.

For the first time in a long time, I can see a real path forward.

But getting the keys is only the beginning.

Because we have five children and belongings currently in storage, we need help covering the costs of actually making this transition possible.

Our immediate needs include:

$2,300 — First month’s rent

$2,300 — Security deposit

$250 — Final month of storage

U-Haul truck, gas & moving expenses

Boxes, tape & packing supplies

Moving/loading assistance

Electricity & gas deposits/activation

Groceries and household necessities

Cleaning and basic household supplies

Emergency cushion for unexpected moving expenses

There is also an opportunity to purchase a reliable van for $2,500, which would give our family another major piece of stability—transportation for our children, school, appointments, work, errands, and everything that comes with rebuilding our lives.

My faith tells me that this isn’t happening by accident.

So now I’m asking our village to help us walk through this door.

I’m not asking one person to carry this entire burden.

I’m asking us to carry it together.

We are terrified. We don’t have a toddler car seat , wipes, or even the most basic essentials for our baby boy who will

be 1 month in 2 days The urgency is overwhelming, and we desperately need help.
