Help Us Keep Food on the Table for Our Family of Six

Hi, my name is Stacy, and I’m asking for help during one of the hardest seasons my family has faced.

My partner Anthony and I are both working full-time, doing everything we can to support our family. At home we have four young children — ages 9, 7, 7, and 6 — who depend on us for everything.

Like many families right now, the rising cost of living has pushed us to a breaking point. Despite working full-time jobs, our income simply isn’t keeping up with rent, bills, and especially groceries for a family of six.

If you have kids, you know how quickly food disappears in the house.

Over the past several months we’ve done everything we can to stay afloat. We’ve cut every expense possible and leaned on close family for help when they could give it. But even with that support, we’re still struggling to keep food on the table.

Many days I make sure our kids eat first — even if that means I go without meals myself. Some days lunch is just a can of soup. Other days, nothing at all.

As parents, it’s incredibly hard to admit when you need help. But right now, we do.

Anthony and I are also working hard on the side helping build a small business that we hope will eventually give our family a better future. It takes time to grow, and while we believe in what we’re building, we’re struggling to make it through the present moment.

I’ve also been searching for a new job for seven months, applying everywhere I can, but nothing has come through yet.

We’re not giving up. We’re doing everything possible to create stability for our family.

Right now, we’re simply asking for help to get through the next few months while we continue working toward a better future.
