Mutual Aid: Stanford Student's Family in Gaza
Donation protected
Dear Stanford and Bay Area community,
A dear friend of mine and fellow Stanford student, who wishes to remain anonymous, is facing an urgent and difficult challenge. Their immediate family in the Gaza Strip is in dire need after having lost their house and gone through multiple evacuations within Gaza, where no place is safe. We are incredibly fortunate to be at Stanford during these times, where we have food and housing security, so the least we can do is help loved ones keep their families safe and healthy.
We are launching a heartfelt fundraiser to aid six members of their immediate family in navigating through the complexities of the Rafah crossing, ensuring a safe passage to Egypt. Crossing the border requires a $7000 fee per person for each of the six family members, and the remaining funds will be allocated to obtaining essential medical supplies and life necessities for their family.
Our Stanford and Bay Area family extends beyond the campus borders, transcending geographical boundaries to stand in solidarity with those we cherish. Let’s rally together, leveraging the strength of our community, to make a meaningful impact. Every contribution, no matter the size, contributes to a brighter, more secure future for our friend’s family.
