Family of 6 Loses Everything in KY Tornado
Donation protected
On the night of May 16th, 2025, a powerful tornado tore through Laurel County, KY, causing widespread destruction across more than 30 miles. Tragically, my brother Dustin and his girlfriend Charlotte were among the many who lost everything.
They lived in a multi-family home in London, KY with Charlotte’s parents and her children — six people in total as well as 4 dogs. As the storm worsened, Dustin made the brave decision to evacuate the entire family to a nearby gas station, where they took shelter in a walk-in cooler. They stayed there until the storm passed. When they returned… their home was gone.
Everything — their clothing, food, children’s belongings, furniture, and daily necessities — was completely destroyed.
Dustin and Charlotte are two of the most generous, selfless people you’ll ever meet. They’re the kind of folks who would give you the shirt off their back without thinking twice. They have hearts of gold and have always shown up for others in times of need. Now, they need our help.
We’re raising funds to help them replace basic necessities:
• Clothing & shoes
• Toiletries & hygiene products
• Groceries & ready-to-eat meals
• Bedding, furniture, and household essentials
• Anything they need to help stabilize their lives and start rebuilding
If you’re not able to give financially, we are also gratefully accepting donations of furniture or household items to help them get back on their feet.
Every dollar and every share makes a difference. Thank you so much for helping this incredible family find hope and comfort after such unimaginable loss.
