On September 1, 2025, at 8:20 PM, our world was turned upside down. My husband Neal, our three children — Roman (14), Aria (12), and DJ (1) — and I were driving home when a drunk driver hit us in a devastating hit-and-run accident. Our car was completely totaled with all of us inside.

By some miracle, my children and I survived with minor injuries, but Neal broke his wrist in the crash. He is unable to work, and I have also been missing work while trying to juggle medical appointments and caring for our family. On top of that, Neal is unable to help with the baby, housework, or yard work due to his injury, which has left us overwhelmed in every way — physically, emotionally, and financially.

To make matters even harder, the driver who hit us continued about a mile down the road before tragically taking his own life, leaving our family to pick up the pieces of this nightmare.

We are a family that lives paycheck to paycheck, and right now we are facing challenges we never thought we would. Our only car is gone, yet we still owe on the loan. We need a replacement vehicle so we can get to work, school, and all the doctors’ appointments that have now become part of our weekly routine.

We are asking for help to:

• Replace our vehicle

• Cover both Neal’s and my lost wages

• Pay for ongoing medical care and appointments

• Keep up with basic household needs while Neal recovers

Our children have been through so much in just one night — Roman and Aria are old enough to understand how close we came to losing everything, while baby DJ doesn’t know the full weight but still feels the disruption to our daily life. We are doing our best to stay strong for them, but this accident has left us scared, shaken, and unsure how we’ll make it through without support.
