Family of 4 Rebuild After House Fire
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Robbie and I am raising funds to help my family friends who lost everything in a house fire in the early hours of Easter Sunday, 2025.
Rob and Amy, with their two beautiful daughters, Angelina and Elowyn, lost everything and were left with only the clothes on their backs after a house fire that is now being considered a total loss. They had lived in their home for over 10 years, and it held a lifetime of memories. Elowyn awoke around 4:15 a.m. to a bright orange glow outside her window and immediately ran to Rob and Amy's room to wake them up. The fire had started outside on their back deck, so thankfully they were able to evacuate before smoke got into the home. Rob and Amy sprang into action. While Amy called 911 from a safe distance with the girls, Rob attempted to battle the fire with a nearby garden hose until the Fire Dept arrived. The fire traveled up the exterior corner of the house, eventually reaching the attic. Once the fire spread into the attic, it burned all the way across the house, impacting every room on the second floor. All three bedrooms, including all furniture, clothes, and belongings, were completely destroyed by either fire, smoke, or falling debris. Attic fires require a lot of water to put out, so while the second floor had fire and smoke damage, the first floor also incurred significant water damage.
This is so devastating, especially coming only seven months after Hurricane Helene (which knocked down several mature trees, one of them striking the house).
Their homeowner's insurance provider is working with them closely, but anyone who's ever had a house fire will tell you, the process is slow, there are always delays, and some things aren't really covered.
I am asking for the support of friends, family, and the community to give whatever they can to help them with rebuilding their lives. Your donation will help immensely towards the basic necessities, clothing, food, temporary housing, and anything else they may need at this very tragic time in their lives.
Thanks so much for your support!
