Family of 4 dies in Fire Bombing (Funeral Expense)

Hi, my name is Janice Mahoney. I have coordinated this fundraiser on behalf of Cynthia Barnett. Cynthia lost four very close relatives, tragically, in a Fire Bombing incident in Central Village, Spanish Town Jamaica on March 12, 2024.

Per the Jamaica Gleaner, "The reported firebombing resulted in the deaths of a woman, her two daughters and her grandchild. The Gleaner understands that their charred remains were found sometime after 2 a.m. during cooling down operations by the Jamaica Fire Brigade. A resident told The Gleaner that three bodies were found on the veranda and one in the bathroom.

There has been tension in the St Catherine community since Sunday."

This has happened at a time of financial difficulty in the harsh economic climate of Jamaica. We need your help! Please donate any amount you are able to, to help Cynthia lay this family to rest. A funeral date has not yet been set, as we need to sort out the financing first. As soon as we have that together, the funeral service date will be announced.
