Family Needs Help-Father recovering from Brain Injury
Donation protected
I am a longtime friend of this family who needs your help :
On July 4, 2024 Chris English was critically injured in an accident in Enderby BC.
A large Fir tree cut fell approx 70 feet to the ground and struck Chris directly on the top of his head. He was rushed by medical helicopter to Kelowna for emergency brain surgery. He has sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Due to unfortunate circumstances there is not any financial coverage for this incident. His spouse Mel Williams, was forced to make the difficult decision to close her business to be able to assist Chris, and care for their children.
Chris was discharged from the hospital on August 13 and will continue his recovery from home. He would love to be able to get back to work, however he is very limited in what the specialists will allow him to do until he undergoes further tests and therapy.
It is absolutely amazing that he survived this accident but bills are piling up for this family.
Any amount you can donate is appreciated so much.
