Family Members Badly Injured in Boating Accident

Hi, my name is Megan Papp, I am raising money for a close family friend whose family was severely injured in a boating accident.

On July 10th, six family members were ejected from a boat after a bad boating accident on the Connecticut River in Portland, CT. All six family members were hospitalized to some extent, 2 of which are still hospitalized and will be for quite some time with severe injuries. The entire family has a long recovery road ahead, and I wanted to raise money for them to put towards medical bills, cost of living or anything they may need.

I will be running the Hartford Half Marathon on October 8, 2022, in honor of them. Any donation you can give will help and be greatly appreciated, and I will be sure to keep you fully updated on my training journey towards the race.
