Dear Family and Friends: I am writing on behalf of my aunt and uncle in Mexico City. My uncle Felipe is a retired nuclear physician who is funny and has an encyclopedic knowledge of many topics - especially history - which I could talk to him for hours. My aunt Letty is a retired chef and teacher. She is also a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. My aunt was hospitalized for over 4 weeks and had multiple surgeries for her heart and lungs. My aunt has survived cancer and lung and heart damage from chemo. At the same time my uncle Felipe has suffered a stroke. My aunt and uncle have been married 53 years and this is a deeply personal yet scary time for them and the family is seeking donations, whatever is possible, to help fund their medical care.

Donations will go directly to their daughter, my cousin, Stephie Gordon.

También es una amorosa esposa, madre, y abuela. Estuvo internada en el Hospital ABC por más de 4 semanas y tuvo múltiples cirugías de corazón y pulmones. Al mismo tiempo, mi tío Felipe, sufrió una embolia. Mi tía y tío han estado casados por 53 años. La familia está buscando donaciones, lo que sea posible, para pagar por los servicios médicos.
