Memorial Expenses for James Ray (Tooter)
Donation protected
James Ray’s funeral services are scheduled for Monday April 3rd starting at 12pm at Jones Funeral Home on High St.
His services have been paid for in full, so we have decided to close this GoFundMe from accepting more donations. We greatly appreciate everyone that shared & donated. #TooterStrong
Update; On March 26th he was taken off the ventilator & begin breathing on his own. Throughout the day he was surrounded with love while his family said their final goodbyes. On March 27th, after about 14 hours of fighting, James Ray has received his wings.
Update as of March 24th; After a very short fight, it has been determined that his tumor is very aggressive. Radiation & Chemo are no longer an option. He is no longer responsive or breathing on his own. After many discussions between the family and doctors, the decision has been made to end life support. On Sunday March 26th around 11:50am his breathing tube will be removed.
Unfortunately we are now raising money to give him the proper service & memorial that he deserves. He will be leaving behind 3 beautiful daughters, a wife, mom & dad, siblings, and many family & friends that never deserved for this to happen. Please help with anything that you can, & please share.
On Sunday January 29th, James Ray was taken to SRMC due to an unexplained illness. After several test, it was determined that he had a mass on his frontal lobe & transferred to Kettering ICU. While at Kettering, they confirmed that the mass was a brain tumor.
By Tuesday January 31st, James Ray’s tumor grew in size and he began hemorrhaging. He was rushed into emergency surgery to remove the aggressive tumor.
The tumor has been removed, but he still has a long road ahead of him. He will be required to undergo radiation and chemotherapy.
Due to the unexpected events thrown at James, his wife Brittany & their 3 children, they will unfortunately begin to get behind on their bills & needs. I hope to help relieve a small amount of stress, and financially help them in their difficult time.
No amount is too small, and more appreciated than you know. Above everything else, please pray for their strength, health & guidance.
Thank you!
