SET FOR SERVICE is a Los Angeles based charitable organization. We need your help to keep our beloved Los Angeles Restaurant & Bar Workers Healthy & Safe!
TROUBLING FACTS
• There are 30,000+ Restaurants & Bars in Los Angeles County, nearly all of which have closed. An estimated 30% will not reopen
• Well over 200,000 hospitality employees will lose their jobs
• The Food & Beverage Workforce already sees higher rates of mental health illnesses and addition
• This population has no Health Insurance and little to no savings
• This is a group with limited political influence, and many lack access to the social safety net.
WHAT WE ARE DOING
Founded by THE COPPER KEY, Set for Service is building FAMILY MEAL KITS. These kits include a mixture of fresh foods, critical shelf staples, and indispensable household goods, and will provide much-needed relief for at-risk families of Los Angeles County.
Our goal is to distribute 1000 Kits to families in need per week. Let's do this!
