My name is Meg and tragically I'm having to create this fundraiser. Alex and Vitaly are two of the hardest working, kind and creative people I have the privilege of calling found- family. While working full-time jobs and helping keep an eye on younger siblings as their mom works, they still found time to nurture their creative sides, with Vitaly being an up and coming makeup artist, and Alex a musician and photographer, all of their equipment and supplies to make these dreams come true went up in flames. On top of that the essentials that we don't think twice about are now gone as well, along with a great deal of their siblings belongings. At the end of the day we can take solace knowing that everyone with the pulse walked away including their cats, physically unscathed, however the trauma and loss is palpable, material items can be replaced and that is exactly my goal here. I would like to ultimately get them into a new property, and begin to rebuild and replace the items and lives that they have worked so hard to build. These aren't kids who are born with the silver spoon in their mouth, they've worked hard for everything they've had, I'm so very proud of everything that they have accomplished in life and my heart absolutely breaks for them in this moment.
