Family lost Everything during Hurricane Ida

As salaam alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu,
I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of our brother Abdul Bari and his family who live in LaPlace Louisiana. After hurricane Ida, he returned from evacuating to find his roof torn off and his family’s belongings destroyed. He is a father of 7 children age 3-19. His wife Khadijah, may Allah have mercy upon her, recently passed away from COVID complications while already going through chemotherapy for cancer. She passed away only a few weeks ago. During her last few months in the hospital, Abdul Bari had stopped working while visiting her and taking care of their children. He was planning to start back working in the coming weeks as he prepared his family for the change of life without their mother. He is a local truck driver and now may be out of work even longer as much of the area has been heavily damaged.
These funds are to help obtain new housing and furniture for his family, and give him some time to prepare a new home for them again. He has not asked for a specific amount but I am estimating what it will take given the seriousness of his situation and size of his family. They will need clothes, books, groceries, appliances and all the things a large family going back to school again needs to name a few of the challenges they have ahead of them. May Allah grant him and his family ease in this life and the next.
Abdul Bari has been a true brother to our community in the greater New Orleans area and has never hesitated when anyone needed assistance in the many years that I have known him. I know Abdul Bari and his family will be very grateful for any assistance they receive from us and they are very much in need during this time. May Allah reward you all immensely and make your donations a means to your success in this life and the next.
قُلۡ إِنَّ رَبِّى يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَقۡدِرُ لَهُ ۥۚ وَمَآ أَنفَقۡتُم مِّن شَىۡءٍ۬ فَهُوَ يُخۡلِفُهُۖ ۥ وَهُوَ خَيۡرُ ٱلرَّٲزِقِينَ (٣٩)
Say: "Truly, my Lord enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His slaves, and (also) restricts (it) for him, and whatsoever you spend of anything (in Allâh's Cause), He will replace it. And He is the Best of providers." (34:39)
