Owen family loses home to Cottonwood Fire in Beaver, Utah

Donation protected
The Cottonwood Fire in Beaver, Utah, has devastated our mountain community, burning over 71,000 acres.

The Owen family lost everything when their house was destroyed by the wildfire. They are one of the few families who reside on the mountain full time. The father, Trent, is deeply rooted in the community. He is a builder and has constructed many of the other homes on the mountain. Everyone in the community turns to Trent whenever they have any issues with their home and he is always happy to help at any hour. Trent and Kristina have been together for 28 years and have lived in their mountain home for 15 years. They have two children – Aspen is 8 years old and starting 3rd grade this fall, and Jasper will be 2 years old in August.

The Owen family is now facing the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding their lives from scratch. They had evacuate so quickly that they brought very little with them. They have lost not only their home, but also their sense of security. Trent lost everything he needs to support his family. The funds raised through this campaign will help them with immediate needs as well as support them as they begin the long process of recovery and rebuilding.

Please consider supporting this family during this incredibly difficult time. Your generosity will make a real difference as they work to recover from this devastating loss. Any help you can provide is deeply appreciated.
