Family Loses Home in Apartment Building Fire

We are fundraising for Suzanne and her family who lost their home and belongings in an apartment fire in Yonkers, NY. In the middle of the night on March 8th, the 95-unit building was engulfed in flames from a fire that started on the bottom floor. It took firefighters close to 8 hours to control the flames and many were injured (firefighters included!) while trying to rescue people from their homes. Suzanne and her family escaped the fire and we are beyond grateful that they are safe!

Suzanne has been with our hospital since February 2018 as a Veterinary Nurse with our Medical Oncology Team that cares for cancer patients. Over the past 5 years, her compassion and optimism have been felt by her teammates, pets and pet owners through her amazing work. It is our turn to be there for Suzanne and her family in this time of need and tragedy. We are asking that you help this beautiful family rebuild. Any amount will help!
