Family Loses Home and Puppies to Fire

This Christmas, a truly wonderful and genuine Christian family in our community is facing an unimaginable hardship. After 22 years of being a part of our town, this family has tragically lost everything in a devastating fire that started in their living room. The fire required 22 firefighters to put out, and, heartbreakingly, their two beloved puppies did not survive. As a long time friend of the family, I could not stand by and not help them and that is why I created this go fund me page where all monies collected will go directly to the family

The fire destroyed everything in their home, and, unfortunately, they did not have renter’s insurance. Now, they are left with nothing and are struggling to support their son, who is on the autism spectrum. His routine has been completely disrupted, making an already difficult situation even harder.

The family was renting their home, and the property will take about a year to restore, leaving them without a place to live in the meantime. They have been staying with their daughter, but the space is very crowded and not sustainable. They urgently need a new home, as well as furniture, clothing, food, and emergency supplies. With no savings to rely on, they are living paycheck to paycheck and need immediate support.

We are turning to our community to help this family in their time of need. During this holiday season, let’s show up for them—let’s come together to offer what we can, whether it's financial donations, services, or simply sharing this story on social media to spread the word. Your kindness and generosity will mean the world to them as they try to rebuild their lives from the ground up.
