Hello, my name is Liz Orsi. I am writing on behalf of my Aunt Kim and Uncle Tom. They were blindsided late Saturday night by a house fire in Southbury, Connecticut, which destroyed everything in the home they've lived in for over 25 years. Luckily, they both were able to evacuate with their 3 dogs, but couldn't save any of their belongings; everything is gone. Kim is one of the strongest people I know after facing multiple medical emergencies after getting diagnosed with Necrotizing Fasciitis and being hospitalized for months afterwards. Within the last 5 years, she has come out stronger despite any of the lifelong disabilities that came with it. With that being said, she has been unable to work. Her husband, who works two jobs almost 7 days a week, is their only income. Having faced multiple challenges has taxed their resolve. All her medications and her medical equipment, badly needed, couldn't be saved.

Our family is beyond grateful that they escaped, and their fur babies, without any serious injuries. Any help you can provide, whether monetary or physical, will be incredibly appreciated.
