Hi, my name is Danielle Hodgson.

I am trying to raise funds in support of my step dad Tim & family members at this time.

Tim is my step dad & unfortunately in October 2024, Tim had a fit inside his work van where later on after many days in Hospital he was given the devastating news that he has a rare autoimmune disease called

Vasuilitis, this causes inflammation of the blood vessels, causing them to swell & thicken, this thickening can narrow the vessels, restricting blood flow & potentially damaging organs & tissue which as now unfortunately happened to Tim.

He took his multiple medications daily & attend hospital regularly for his infusions, all whilst still attending work & being a family man to 5 step children , 1 his own, 5/6 who have special needs, not including his 7 grandchildren.

Unfortunately this medication hasn’t seemed to help & he’s had massive flare ups.

Tim got rushed back into Southampton hospital Friday evening (11th July 25) where he was unable to breath by himself (on full oxygen) had bleeding on his lungs & issues with his heart etc despite all the efforts at Southampton hospital he hasn’t been able to stabilise so he has currently now been placed in an induced coma but still struggling to stabilise even with this.

He is now Awaiting referrals to a specialist London hospital.

Tim is a hard working family man, & that he very proud in the work that he does but being self employed means he doesn’t receive any sick pay for this & home/family currently have no other income coming in to cover living costs & transport cost to be with Tim at this time & possibly being able to see him in at his London placement if this is done.
