Family Leon lost there belongings in a house fire..
I am reaching out to the community to help Marissa Leon & her kids. On May 5, 2025, Marissa received a call to get home because her house was on fire. As we were driving, sure enough, we could see the smoke in the sky. So many things ran through my mind. As we got there, we saw flames coming out of the house. All she could think of was her dog Blaze and her family turtle. Thank God when the firefighter got there, they opened the door & Blaze came running out & the turtle was rescued also. As I was there watching my friend on her knees screaming, I felt helpless. I couldn't imagine what she was thinking or feeling, and I couldn't do anything to comfort her. As we watched the house burn, the only thing that came to my mind was her kids. Thankfully, they were in school. Nobody got hurt, and everyone is safe but heartbroken because it was all Marissa's life in there, everything she worked and built throughout the years. This was her home, her kids' home, her safe place where she could go & knew nothing could ever happen while at home. The saddest part is she no longer has a place to call home. She's had a great loss, so I'm reaching out for her & her kids. Anybody and everybody that would like to help her and her kids out, she could use any help possible. I'm asking with my heart in my hand, let's help this family. She needs help. Every penny helps. Marissa wants to thank God and each one of you in advance for any blessings that you can bestow. Whether it's helping her with monetary donations to rebuild, helping with food, clothes, etc. If you have any additional info, please reach out to me Amanda Fonseca and we will ensure she gets every ounce of assistance!
