Just two days ago, on May 24th, my mother laid down after a 10-hour overnight shift. She was woken up by yelling and screams from the next room over. A plug-in had caught fire and spread through the room, leading to other parts of the home. In just the blink of an eye, her and my stepdad's home was gone. Everything was lost. They have nothing and are truly in desperate need of help. My mom and stepdad don't ever ask for help, but they break their backs to help other people, especially their family. Anything and everything will help to get my mom, stepdad, and siblings into another home and get what they need. Red Cross has been able to put them in a hotel room for the next 3 days. They are going to faced with the long road ahead but God is good and will see them through. Thank you for all of your help and prayers!
