Family in need of help during difficult times!

Hi everyone, my name is Chelsea Hill. I have asked Tyler’s mother for permission and on her behalf, I have created a GoFundMe to help Tyler’s family during this time.

On July 19, 2025, Tyler was the passenger of a vehicle involved in a head-on collision and was life-flighted to UNC Hospital. Tyler has shattered his sixth vertebra, fractured his seventh, has a broken shoulder, broken leg, and collapsed lung. He had emergency surgery on his sixth vertebra and is awaiting part two, but has been fighting fevers, on and off the ventilator, and now pneumonia. Tyler has no feeling below his nipple line and doctors are saying he will likely never be able to walk again. He has a very long road to recovery, but thank the Lord he is alive!

Tyler’s mother and step-father have been raising and caring for his children over the past 4 years. This event has them going back and forth to UNC since the accident. Taking days off work is taxing on anyone; therefore, I have created this GoFundMe to help this family during their time of need. Whether it’s for food, gas, anything for the boys, or things Tyler may need.
