Salaam Walaikum dear family, friends and donors. As you are all aware Herat, Afghanistan was struck with multiple earthquakes. Many families have been displaced with no where to sleep and no food to eat. One of these families happens to be my cousin Tarina. She is a mother of four beautiful children who are struggling immensely. They sleep in a tent and when the cold wind blows at night their tent is pulled apart as her kids shiver in their sleep. It’s truly a devastating situation to be in. May Allah protect everyone facing this crisis. We are asking to collect $3,000 to help her move to Kandahar, Afghanistan. This will allow her to pay for two years worth of rent at once and have money left over to purchase necessary household items. As Muslims it is our job to help those in need. I pray Allah rewards all those who contribute. And if you can’t afford to help then at least pray for Tarina and her children.
