Hello everyone,

My name is Sarah Downey, and I’m reaching out from New York on behalf of my family in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Our family home — once full of love, laughter, and generations of memories — has been destroyed. The roof is completely gone, and the house is no longer safe for anyone to live in.

Right now, my family is struggling not only without a home, but also without enough food. The children and elders are doing their best to stay strong, but every day is a challenge — from finding a dry place to sleep to getting a proper meal.

We’re hoping to raise funds to rebuild our family home and provide food and basic needs while repairs are underway. Every dollar will go directly toward construction materials, food supplies, and essentials to help them stay safe, nourished, and cared for.
