In Loving Memory of Chris Jimenez

On October 23rd, our beloved Chris gained his wings after a long and courageous fight with multiple health complications. Chris was a loving husband, father of three, and a proud man who served this country with honor.

For the past six months, he battled through strokes, seizures, and respiratory and renal failure. Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful that he is finally at peace.

This GoFundMe was originally created to help with living and medical expenses as we navigated his illness. Now, we humbly ask for your continued support to help cover funeral and final arrangements, allowing his family to lay him to rest with dignity and love.

Hello, my name is Jennifer Jimenez.

Back on April 21st, my husband Chris suffered multiple strokes followed by multiple silent seizures, just before his 50th birthday. Since then, our lives have changed completely. Chris has spent the last six months in and out of hospitals and rehab centers, bravely fighting to recover.

Unfortunately, his condition has worsened — Chris is now in renal failure and respiratory failure, requiring constant medical care.

With the loss of his income and our savings now gone, my children and I are struggling to stay afloat. I am disabled due to my Battle with Cancer, and while my disability check covers our rent and essential bills, there is little left for food, medical supplies, and other necessities. The Doctors all say that once he can come home his recovery can take 6 months to a year for Chris to be back on his feet and hopefully return to work.

This has been one of the hardest seasons of our lives, but I am holding onto faith and hope. Any help — no matter how small — will make a difference for our family as we continue to fight for Chris’s recovery and stability at home.
