Hi, my name is Enya, and I never imagined I would have to write something like this.

Last night, my mum and my siblings lost their home and everything they owned in a devastating house fire. By some miracle, they all made it out safely — and for that we are beyond grateful. But heartbreakingly, not all of their beloved pets survived. The loss has been absolutely unbearable.

In a single night, my family lost their home, their memories, their clothes, their belongings — everything. They have been left with nothing but the clothes they escaped in. No home to return to. No basic essentials. Just shock, grief, and uncertainty about what comes next.

My mum is the most selfless, loving, and hardworking person I know. She would give her last penny to help someone else, and she truly does not deserve to be facing something like this. Watching her try to stay strong for everyone while having lost so much is heartbreaking.

I’m hoping to raise anything at all to help take even a small amount of stress off her shoulders — to help with basic essentials like clothing, footwear, toiletries, and the small things we all take for granted until they’re gone.
