I am setting up this fundraiser to try and help a very dedicated, hard-working, and sweet woman/mother and her family who have been forced to seek asylum here in the United States. Her name is Solsiayskel, and she is the mother of three children. She has a 17-year-old daughter, 13-year-old daughter, and 8-year-old little boy who came here with her from Venezuela. Unfortunately, her husband was unable to leave with her, and he is still left behind in Venezuela. They fled their home due to the extreme violence in their country, and to get her and her kids here, they sold all of their possessions--including their home. She is a former nurse, who has 14 years of experience in shock trauma, and now is juggling three jobs and trying to learn English to keep her family afloat here. I know her as one of our housekeepers in the emergency department in Lehi. She is an amazingly hard worker, and her story is incredible. I am hoping to raise money for her and her family to help get their feet back underneath them and help them with the legal funds to get her husband/their father to be able to join them here as well. I hope that you will join me in this endeavor, and I appreciate any amount you feel you can spare to help them out through this journey.
