I am an older sister of Juliya Khvan. The picture I am sharing is of her on her 7th birthday on August 1, before she seriously got sick with a rare disease, called dermatomyositis, mda 5. She is admitted to the sick kids hospital, dermatomyositis harshly impacted her body and especially her lungs. Right now they are in a very weak state and she cant breathe, an ecmo machine is keeping her alive by circulating oxygen throughout her bloodstream. The doctors are doing their best, however she may need a powerful miracle to get better and to start healing her lungs. If you see this, I want to just ask you to pray for her recovery.

Our family and friends persuaded me to make an account to help my single mom get by with daily things, she can't work and I stopped my studies to be with Juliya at the hospital. Our community really wants to help us, it is hard for our family to ask for help, but even small help such as being able to afford groceries for our kids, my siblings Arthur and Milana would make a big difference in the long run. Being able to afford transportation and paying for rent would help our family a lot.

If you notice this, the most important thing for us is to spread the word and to continue praying for Juliya to be strong and show that she is a special miracle child who can win this battle. Maybe God will hear us all and help her continue being the fighter that she is. To prove that she can do this with our help and help from the God and the universe.

Our family really needs her, and our small community really cares about her. She is the sunshine in our lives.
