PLEASE HELP!

My family, the Swager Family, (part of the Wackerman Family) who have long made their home in Midpines and have been in Mariposa for over a century, have lost their homes located off Carstens Road near the point of origin for the Oak fire. They only had time to save themselves but the homes that they built and customized by hand over decades and everything inside of them were devoured by the fire. They lost lifetimes of accumulated possessions including irreplaceable family heirlooms in a matter of moments.

Many have asked how they can help, so I created this fund to support the cleanup, the rebuilding, and basic necessities as they start over from ashes. For those in the community who know them and want to help in other ways, they will need help clearing the damage and rebuilding. As I’m sure the community would agree, the Swagers are the first people to offer help. They need help now and I’m asking on their behalf because it isn’t their nature to ask for help. I lost my childhood playground, but they lost everything.
