Hi my name is Misty. I have two beautiful children, and a hardwoking husband that unfortunately was severely injured. As a result from his extensive need for medical treatments, hospitalizations, and continued care, our family became displaced from our home. In what seems to have been in an instant, our family became homeless. My children's "bonus dad" was the provider for our household and while he was induced in a coma and clinging to life, I had no realistic means to pay the rent. When he was critically injured, I didn't just temporarily lose my husband but we also lost our home. By the grace and mercy of God my husband pulled through. Unfortunately his injuries left him unable to provide for us. We are in desperate and dire need for any and all help we can get. What we need isn't only financial. We also need all the prayers and positive thoughts that we can receive. We humbly appreciate every body. It doesn't matter if you are a friend, family member, or a complete stranger, our family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts. One of my husbands greatest joys is going to work to provide for our family. It has been constant stress and worry with him and I physically unable to work. With the support we have had thus far we are enduring through these most difficult times. Kindness is contagious and our family has been truly blessed. However, we are still navigating through the turbulent times, but because of the generosity and love of others, we can see the lighthouse on the shore, but until then we appreciate all the goodwill from others. Truly, we are very grateful. We reside in Montana for multiple years and this has become our home but unfortunately my family lives in Florida, his family lives in New Jersey. It breaks my heart after all his hard work and effort to provide a safe loving home for our family that upon his discharge he did not have a home to come home to. We were approved for rapid rehousing through HRDC. They will help cover the first three months of rent, but until then most other local services either have little or no support available. We utilize the food bank and have had some support from our families and friends, but until we find a place that we can call home... The struggle is real...
