In the October 2016 wind storm, our family home was destoryed by a giant tree falling through the front of the place we've called home for 19 years. 

We are the Jodway family; Vanessa and Dale, and children Liz, Emily and Sarah. Vanessa and Dale and a family friend were in the house at the time of the incident. The invading tree triggered a gas leak. Luckily no one was hurt by the tree, and everyone was able to evacuate quickly, including our dog and cat. 

The tree came through the garage, totalling the car Vanessa uses to drive to her job as a nurse at St. Joseph's hospital in Tacoma. Additionally, our family will need to find a place to rent, which means having the funds for first and last month's rent as well as a security desposit.
