Meet Loeurn Len, Tuk Tuk Driver At Angkor Wat (FB} and his beautiful family including his wife, daughter, mother, and niece who live in extremely modest conditions. A new highway is being built on the land where his two homes reside. They have until April 25th to move the houses. The government will not help them to relocate. Len is hoping to buy a small parcel of land to relocate his family. It will allow his family to have a modest home and for him to be close enough to his customer base to provide for them. The cost of the land is $4,000 and the 2 houses (shacks, really) need to be moved or Len and his family will be homeless. My goal is $5,500 for land, moving expenses to a new location. I am hoping there will be enough to help them fix the roof which leaks in the rainy season. The family built the homes themselves and can reconstruct them at the new property. I spent a week with them. They are loving and grateful and so kind to their children. Len works hard every day. He was reliable and helpful. Despite their poverty and no indoor plumbing their shacks and persons are clean and organized and cheerful. There are many pictures on my facebook of them in March and April. Please help if you can.
