My family and I are completely devastated — yesterday we lost our home and everything we owned in the fire. Watching our lives go up in flames is something we could never have prepared for, and the weight of this loss is beyond words.

But in the middle of the heartbreak, we are deeply grateful. We may have lost all our belongings, but we are safe — and that is what matters most.

To our incredible neighbours and community: thank you. Your immediate support, your kindness, and your comforting words have carried us through the darkest hours. We truly cannot express how much your compassion means to us during this unimaginable time.
