This morning - Sunday the 19th of February, My mum Wendy and my 17 year old twin brothers family home, burned down in Yackandandah, due to an unfortunate incident involving a gas bottle.

Thankfully, everyone made it out in time, including their two dogs, before their whole house was engulfed in flames.

They’re now left with the clothes on their back and nothing else. Their hilux also sustained severe damage, leaving them with no transport.

This was the house my mum built for herself and the boys, from the ground up, after her husband Greg suddenly passed away in 2013.

At this stage it’s hard for her to store anything that people could offer physically, therefore I’ve started this go fund me, in hopes that she will be able to buy things as needed.

She will never be able to replace the things that meant the most to her that have now perished, such as her wedding rings, photos, among a lot of other sentimental items, which is the most heartbreaking realisation. Though Mum is thankful that everyone is ok and would like to focus on how she can move forward.

Any amount that people are able to donate, would be so greatly appreciated and will go a long way for her and the boys. It would also help ease some stress, whilst they now try to rebuild their lives.
