Family Hit Head-On By Drunk Driver
Donation protected
Holly and Gus Lancaster, and their two year old little boy were on their way to their home in Knob Noster when they were struck head-on by a wrong way drunk driver on east bound 50 Hwy. Both Holly and Gus sustained serious injuries. Holly was LifeFlighted to KC Research, Gus traveled there via ambulance, and their son to Children's Mercy in KB, where he was treated for broken bones and released to family.
Holly is a popular middle school art teacher in Warrensburg and a talented artist. She is a loving mother and a caregiver for her mother.
Gus, a Navy Veteran, was permanently disabled several years ago when he was hit by a drunk driver while on his motorcycle. He walks using a cane, crushes, and often needs to use his wheel chair, so he is dealing with serious injuries on top of serious injuries. He cares for their son, and recently took a weekend job in a chain restaurant to make end meet.
Both Holly and Gus have a long recovery ahead and appreciate any support. They have no expectations and appreciate prayer and well wishes. These funds will aid in their recovery, the recovery of their child.
