The world lost a truly kind, loving individual on September 9th, 2019.
Randy Maillet was a father, son, brother, and friend. Life’s hardships are the ultimate test of our fortitude. Randy and his family have had no shortage of these trials in recent years.
In January of 2018 Randy was diagnosed with Leukemia. Throughout the next year Randy endured extensive medical treatment including a bone marrow transplant as well as chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Randy's treatment was thought to be a success.
While in remission and on a routine checkup, Randy was informed that he would have to begin chemotherapy again. The cancer in his blood had returned. In August of 2019 Randy began chemotherapy and radiation treatments for a second time.
In order to take control over his mental and physical anguish, Randy took his own life on September 9th, 2019.
Randy is survived by his wife of 15 years, Trish and their 4 year old son, Matthew. The money raised with this campaign will be used to support Randy's family and to help alleviate the stress of incurred medical bills.
If you know the Maillets, you know their generosity, kindness, and hospitality are practically limitless. We’re asking for help in returning this compassion and generosity in a time that it is needed most.
