Family from Hatay-Turkey
Donation protected
For anyone who doesn't know me personally, my name is Dila. I am from Hatay/ Turkey. We have called Hatay home for generations. Unfortunately, after the earthquake that hit the southeastern region of Turkey, we lost our friends, and families and thousands of people got injured. My aunt is one of the survivors. She was able to get out of a collapsed building. That was her only apartment that was passed down to her by my grandma. For anyone to understand the magnitude of the situation, as the earthquake hit Turkey around 4 am, she got out of her apartment in her nightgown. (See the picture of the collapsed building she got out of and her red car) I want you to take a moment and try to imagine that you lost every single thing you have in a night. Your apartment, car, phone, wallet, summer clothes, winter clothes, shoes, bed, kitchen stuff, library, photo albums, suitcases, and any documents/memories you kept until today.
Plus, they need professional psychological help for their trauma. I want to raise money to be able to help as much as I can first to my aunt and to my friends who are suffering, and at least help them to be able to afford their BASIC needs. This donation will be sent firsthand to Ayfer Ozmen and Yalcin Karaman (this list might extend as I reach more people), their prior needs will be food, clothing, telecommunication, transportation, medication, and psychotherapy.
If you don't have the financial flexibility to donate, then you could share this link, that’d be helpful as well. Every action helps, every penny counts. Thank you so much for your support and time.
