Hello Friends,

I am writing to you regarding a most important and heartfelt reason, and I would not ask you to consider donating money to this cause if the person involved was not one of the most caring and thoughtful people that I’ve ever met – he’s someone near and dear to a lot of our hearts.

I am trying to raise money to help Coach Noom Romyanond and his family while he is going through cancer treatments and has been unable to work or do much of anything for a long time now due to his chemotherapy treatments. Coach Noom has given so much of his time and energy to coaching soccer players and also mentoring younger coaches that I thought everyone might want to now consider giving something back for Coach Noom in a time of great need for his family.

Coach Noom was originally diagnosed with prostate cancer and an enlarged prostate in early 2022, which in itself was bad enough. But only four months later, he was in and out of the emergency room with unbearable neck pain, and through a series of procedures and experts, was eventually diagnosed with a series of large B cell lymphoma cancer tumors inside his neck that required immediately starting chemotherapy treatments.

Coach Noom has been coaching at JFC from 2009 to 2021 – that’s over 13 years. Those of you who know him would agree that Coach Noom’s love and passion have helped so many players to be successful on the field and off the field. He is a teacher and a mentor for everyone who has a chance to learn from him.

While he has been unable to work in the past 12 months due to the side effects from the chemotherapy treatments and the low immune system, unfortunately, his cancer journey is far from over. The last PET CT scan indicated lumps in the thyroid gland, which is going to require an entirely new treatment regime to stop cancer at this gland and, hopefully, prevent the further spread of cancer elsewhere before it is too late.

I’m asking for help to comfort his family and him in their time of need. Being a family of 7, they could all use your support in terms of money for medical bills, medical supplies, etc.
