Family Faces Mold Crisis WITH 7 MONTH OLD

Hello World.

This isn't easy. Help is not something I would normally ever even consider!

I run a home-based business. Eleven days ago, I found over 5 strains of mold behind my 10 x 10 vocal booth in the downstairs basement of my home that I rent. I have lost all my studio gear, which is nothing to flinch at, but after all is said and done, they are just things! I have a full toxicology report with over 22,000 spores per cubic foot in that room. I also have a urine test being sent to be analyzed.

The reason ended up being the pipe in the wall leaking, and there was no way to see it as it was behind said wall. I personally have been going through some health issues for quite some time now. As i spend up to 6 hrs a day in there. The place has been deemed quite uninhabitable until all is remediated!

To be able to connect the dots is at least a bit of peace of mind!

However, I have a 7-month-old that spent the first months of his life in said studio because it was quieter and he could nap. I also have 2 dogs that have been affected. My wifes first Mothers day was spent feeling like we are drowning. :(

I am worried as we have used up our renter's insurance, and I am barely able to offer the services I was as I work from home. We have run low on funds as my wife also runs her own retail business, and this is her first year in operation! I feel a bit overwhelmed as I have done nothing but pay my rent on time every time, as well as renter's insurance. We have a $50,000 policy, but only $2,500 is allowed for a mold situation! :(

This is no sob story! This is real life!
