Family expenses and Recovery

My name is Gloria and My husband was shot and nearly killed one week ago today while cleaning our SUV while our 4 year old son was next to him. If my husband would of moved they would of shot and most likely kill our son. Our vehicle was shot 6 times and broke two windows My husband was shot once from the back of the neck which damaged a main artery to the brain which the doctors were able to locate and fix but along with he also suffered a shattered jaw from the bullet exploding into pieces which has led to him having a facial surgery to wire his teeth and jaw shut and he also has a neck fracture that could lead to severe damage if he does too much activity while healing its more than heartbreaking to see him like this and more even that we won’t be able to hear him talk or laugh or do anything honestly we love and miss him so much but he is strong and has managed to remain stable after this traumatic week and will recover with time thankfully.

My children and I have suffered and continue to suffer with out daddy at the moment. It’s cruel what these individuals have done in front of our 4 year old son who was next to him along with our 5 year old son who was jumping on the trampoline and witnessed it happen My husband had the strength to run back into our house so that he could get help but within seconds he dropped at our 9 year old son and 8 year daughters feet

We have 8 children 12 yr, 9 yr, 8 yr, 5 yr, 4 yr, 2 yr, 1 yr, and 3 months old We have been together for 14 years and married My husband is a good man and a family man I do understand that this is considered gang related which I would agree to if my husband was shot for being in a gang related situation but he wasn’t he was simply cleaning our suv in our front yard when two cruel and heartless individuals came to our home and did this in front of our children My husband is more than great man and is a Loving Father and Husband He always has good intentions and fills our days with so much joy This is a very difficult time financially since he is the provider for our home and family and he won’t be coming home for a while his path for recovery is gonna take time and patience but we have faith he will be ok So I’m asking please anything will help us in this stressful and difficult time while we situate and prepare for things for when he does come home.
