Family dog perishes in Christmas eve's eve fire

Hi, I'm Kelsey, long time friend of Candace who suffered a great loss the night before Christmas eve. A fire unfortunately started in their garage and although the fire department responded quickly and were able to contain most of the fire in the attached garage, they unfortunately lost many of their belongings, as well as their family dog, Lucy. Candace and Nat lived together in their home with their 4 boys as well as 2 dogs. Everyone else thankfully made it out ok but Lucy did not

I've started this gofundme to help their family pay for temporary housing, replace the things they need right away, before insurance will kick in, and to help elevate any extra stressed this type of loss brings.

What a tragedy to happen just days before Christmas. Let's try and bring back some Christmas cheer to this family as there's was just taken away from them.
