Family displaced in North College Hill fire

Hi there everyone! If you know me then you know my siblings mean the world to me. Literally, all I have left!

I am devastated to share that we’ve experienced another tragedy. My sister and her family lost their home in a fire at midnight. To be awaken out of your sleep hearing tears & sirens you instantly assume the worst thing you could ever imagine. Especially given the hand of cards my family has been dealt these last 2 years.

Within the last two years I’ve had to bury my mother and brother and now assist my sister with rebuilding her life piece by piece.

I cannot imagine losing everything I own to escape with nothing but a T-shirt on my back— no pants, no shoes!

The fire started in another unit reaching my sisters apartment. By the grace of God my sister and her family were able to escape with minor smoke inhalation.

As a pregnant mother/wife, with 3 children and no home this will be a very difficult time. Funds will help with clothing, immediate necessities, and hopefully get them some short term housing.
