Family Displaced by Lightning Fire

On July 1st, 2025, our home was struck by lightning and caused a fire. In a matter of minutes, we lost everything. Our lives have definitely been impacted greatly. We are thankful that no one in our family was hurt, and thanks to our son's bravery and quick reaction, our pets were also saved.

At this time, we are living in a hotel and were told it could be up to a year until we can move back into our home.

We have lost clothes and essentials, along with priceless memories. We are thankful to the Red Cross for their help along with loved ones that immediately reached out. But we realized that the amount of money needed to start getting back on our feet is far greater than we thought.
