Hartley Family Displaced by Eaton Fire

Donation protected
My daughters and I have been devastated by the Eaton Fire in Altadena. On Tuesday night, before any warnings had been announced, we could see flames from our apartment and knew we had to leave quickly. We got in our car and left, without being able to take any of our cherished belongings.

A dear friend offered to house the three of us and our pets for now, which has truly been a blessing. Once I knew we were safe, I drove back through the smoke and flames to our home to save what I could. The majority of our apartment complex and all the surrounding buildings have completely burned to the ground and after nearly 20 years of calling beautiful Altadena our community, we will not be able to live there any longer. We need to find a new home as soon as possible as my oldest daughter is nearly six months pregnant. As a teacher and single mother, I don't have the resources to do that on my own, which means your donations will help to get us back on our feet and deal with unexpected expenses.

Any amount will be incredibly helpful to our family. We are forever grateful.
