Family devastated with father-son diagnosis!

Prayers and support are needed for a family that is facing two significant life crises!

The Tromba family has been hit with a double whammy and mounting medical bills & we are raising money to help with these mounting bills as father & son are both battling.

Lonnie & his wife Edna have two teenage boys, Zack (high school junior) & Max (high school senior.)

Last year, in the middle of COVID, Lonnie was diagnosed with lymphoma. He sold his house and his business to keep up with the medical expenses, and because he could physically no longer work due to the rigorous chemotherapy treatment he had to undergo. He went into remission for 6 months but the cancer has come back and he began chemotherapy again last month (July 2021).

But July had more in store for the Tromba's. Lonnie & Edna's 16 yr old son, Zack, began having migraines that landed him in the ER. Zack is a full-of-life teen & has a zest for life that is apparent to all that meet him. The migraines were unusual and after further tests/imaging it was determined on July 28th Zack has a tumor on his spine. The tumor cannot be biopsied given the risk involved. He is scheduled to have surgery Aug. 18th, 2021 at Duke. There will be more imaging to determine if this is a single tumor or if there are more. The family has had the wind knocked out of them.
