Imagine waking up to find your home engulfed in flames, with all your possessions and sense of security reduced to ashes. This nightmare became a reality for Jose Milan and Saul Milan, their shared home and beloved pets lost in a fast-moving fire. While they are both safe alongside their families, they need our help.

Jose and Saul are not just statistics; they're our neighbors, our friends, and part of our Skyline College community. As they navigate through this challenging time, they’re in need of financial assistance to cover basic necessities like a place to live, clothing, food, and care for children with special needs. Jose shared that even as his home was burning, he knew he would be alright because his family was safe. He never imagined the outpouring of support he would receive from the Skyline community. Though the loss of his home is devastating, he has come to understand the generosity of spirit of the Skyline community. He’s extremely grateful and vowed to pay forward the generosity this community has shown to him.
