Family Cuts - Peter's Medical Bills

I have been going to Family cuts for more than 20 years. I found out that my friend Peter has passed. Him and his wife have been running the Family Cuts salon in Lakewood for, I don't know how long. I went in for my regular hair cut, his wife sees me and immediately starts crying. I know something is wrong.
She tells me to sit down, I do. She informs me that Peter passed last night from cancer and complications during surgery. Her sone is there helping his mom and she it taking customers. In my mind I kept thinking "how is she even here working"; this is how they were. Always open and always available for us to get our hair cut.

Peter and his wife spent 20+ years cutting Hair and going to dance lessons in their free time. Always talking about the things they would love to go do. But like most of us, never do because of their dedication to work.

Today I found out that they didn't have a life insurance plan and the medical insurance only covered 80% of the surgery. I am starting this GoFundMe to help her with the medical bills and to help her save the business her and her husband built together.
